I remember my best friend in third grade was the greatest, smartest person I’d met, and I guess I could say that she was the one who encouraged me to become an artist and start writing and whatever. She was pretty cool, and I was pretty close with her, but she moved a half year later.
I saw her again after a while and she didn’t remember who I was and I just kinda ran home and sulked after that.
I still have this one beautiful picture she made for me, a collage of stuff saying I was her best friend and all and I just wonder how she forgot and I was never able to.
